Master Panda Fan Art: Rigging & Tooling

To streamline interaction with this character, I developed custom tools using Blender’s bpy API. I wrote Python scripts to automate rig setup tasks, manage control visibility, switch modes, and simplify animator access to key rig functions. The goal was to reduce friction between the animator and the character by building small pipeline tools directly into the rig workflow.

This project became less about the final render and more about technical execution — combining character art, deformation logic, and scripting to create a production-conscious asset that balances usability, performance, and stylized appeal.
